1 - A Beautiful Stranger
It was late summer in the southern part of Spain, and los vientos were predicted. The strong winds would make her a prisoner of her home for the following nights and Belinda wanted to make a trip to town before her sleep. This evening would be her last of opening the wooden shutters, and letting the outside in, for awhile. She sat naked on the huge window sill padded with floral painted tiles that were cold against her bare bottom. She was tracing her hand along the heavy metal iron bars, thinking how lonely the next few nights would be in this house. Her hunger was calling her to take the night and drink well for she would not get a chance until the weather would change again. She was not nearly as concerned for blood as for her need of other things.
